Thursday morning

Woke up with a mild case of hiker's rash aka diaper rash around ones ankles from the heat, wool and humidity! Need to switch to lower boots and lighter socks. Just what I need on a day where I am climbing 400 ft higher than I ever have before! Snowden is 3,600 and that is the highest I have ever gone as far as elevation gain. I guess I will have a new PB-personal best by evening!
